STUDIO 10 MANCHESTER T&C’S
Terms & Conditions
The premises are made available to the hirer under the following terms and conditions;
1. Studio 10 Manchester will insure the studio and our equipment against all normal insurable risks. Clients must ensure they have adequate public liability and where neccessary employers liability insurance covering any persons attending or visiting the studio. Clients must have cover against loss damage or theft of their own equipment or equipment hired by them or goods in trust brought onto the premises.
2. All equipment made available to the client is in good condition. Studio10manchester will not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever arising from any failure, use or misuse of the equipment nor in respect of any direct or indirect consequential loss arising there from.
3. It is the responsibilty of the hirer to make checks both for completeness and for correct functioning and suitability of any studio equipment, materials, backgrounds or Coloramas made available. The client must notify Studio10manchester at the time of supply
if the condition of any of these items is not acceptable. Studio10manchester will not be liable for any consequential loss either directly or indirectly arising from the unsuitability of these items.
4. Any equipment or items lost, stolen or damaged while in the hirers possession will be the entire responsibility of the hirer and be charged at the full replacement cost.
4a. All other equipment including heaters, kettles, fridges, general lighting etc is used at clients risk. Studio 10 Manchester cannot accept any liability for the loss or damage resulted in using the equipment. Clients must ask prior to moving furniture or any Studio 10 Manchester equipment.
5. The security of the studio and its contents will be the responsibility of the hirer during the period of hire.
5a. Studio 10 Manchester has a maximum number of attendees which depends on which space is being hired. Numbers should be advised prior too booking. The specified number should not be exceeded for security and safety reasons. Studio 10 Manchester reserves the right to refuse entry or terminate a booking if there is a breach in the
is rule or the venue is at capacity.
6. Any materials used in connection with the construction of any sets by the customer shall be forthwith removed from the studio at the end of the hire period at the expense of the customer.
6a. Studio 10 Manchester insists that clients must not litter and drop waste inside or outside of the premises. Bins are provided in both spaces. Studio 10 Manchester provides a large refuge bin outside the premises for rubbish. We also provide additional bin bags. Clients are responsible for ensuring all waste is disposed of and outside spaces are kept clean and litter free. Failure to do so will result in additional charges.
7. Studio 10 Manchester must insist that Clients ensure that all minors under the age of 16 that are on the premisses for at the time of booking must be accompanied by a chaperone and always have the permission of parents or guardians to be on the premises. Minors must always have the relevant forms and permissions to be filmed or photographed.
8. Studio 10 Manchester reserve the right to make a charge for any excess cleaning that may be necessary.
9. Any costs incurred on behalf of clients may be subject to a handling charge
10. Studio 10 Manchester will not be responsible for any loss or damage to vehicles or contents parked on the premises
11. Studio 10 Manchester hours of operation are normally 9am to 6pm. Overtime rates on application will apply per hour or part thereof outside these hours.
12. Our cancellation policy on a confirmed booking is 50% of the agreed rate within 24hrs of the commencement of the booking and 100% on the day of the booking.
13. Our standard payment policy is that the account must be settled prior or immediately after the booking has finished. Short term credit terms may be arranged at the discretion of the company by prior formal arrangement.
14. Alterations or additions to the premises is not permitted unless with written consent.
15. A charge will be made to paint the scoop after the hire if required. Please ask for details.
16. Parking outside the studio is restricted and for any long term parking , or off loading it is suggested the hirer gains suitable permissions.
17. Noise levels outside of Studio 10 Manchester’s premises must be kept to a reasonable level during bookings. Clients are asked to consider our neighbours when using the Studio.
18. Booking times start as per confirmed time and date.
18a. These terms and conditions are valid at the time of booking and are subject to variation. Studio 10 Manchester will notify clients of any variations in the terms and conditions prior too booking.
19. The laws of the united kingdom shall govern all agreements.
20. Studio 10 Manchester may terminate any booking or hire contract if the client is found to be in breach of any of the terms sand conditions.
21. Clients agree to all terms and conditions stated above when booking is confirmed and booked via telephone or email and the date is confirmed in the diary.
